As part of swachatha hi seva from September 15 to October 2 many cleanliness
activities are being carried out in schools, colleges, public places and orphanages
.ONGC, a public sector conducted a handwash awareness program in Chennai
Corporation Middle School, Balaji nagar, Royapettah.
150 students, Volunteers and Parents were participated in this event and was
demonstrated by microbiology students of KRM college under the supervision of Prof.
Leena and G.Thangaraj (Dist coordinator, NGC).
Hand wash procedures were followed by students and parents. All participants
were provided with Health kits and Dust bins by Gopinath (General Manager, ongc).
Earlier a stainless steel hand wash unit was sponsored by Rotary club of Madras
Bay City and was handed over to Thenmozhi (Head Mistress) by Arulmalar (Senior
Executive, Rotary club).
