Essay competition for senior citizens

Nandini Voice for the deprived, a Chennai based non governmental organization is organizing an essay competition for senior citizens to describe their thoughts and share their perspectives on the life that they have led and how to make up for the lost opportunities in the rest of their life. The objective of the competition is to provide an opportunity to the senior citizens above 60 years of age to express themselves . Their views would help in providing the guidelines for shaping the future plans for youngsters , when they have the time and opportunity to do so. Highlights of the thoughts of the senior citizens would be published for the benefit of all concerned. Essay can be written in English or Tamil. Essay should have maximum of 1500 words. Last date for submission of essay is September 30,2018. Best of five entries will be awarded prize.
